School Group Visits

Group tours are available for high schools and organizations bringing 10 or more students to visit the University of Vermont. Tours include our student center, several academic buildings, the library, campus housing and dining facilities.

During the academic year (September 1-May 6), school visits are available Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Please provide at least 2 different dates you would like to visit campus.

Note: We accommodate school groups on a case by case basis. During high demand visit times, school group visits may be limited. We do not offer group visits during the month of April nor on select weeks in February.

Group Tour Visitor Agreement

I have provided an accurate head count of all visitors in our group and will notify the Visit Coordinator of any changes at least five business days before the event.

I understand chaperones must stay with their group at all times and address any disruptive behavior if it should occur.

I have at least 1 chaperone per 15 students.

I understand that the Office of Admission reserves the right to end our visit and/or refuse future visits if inappropriate behavior occurs while our group is on campus.

I understand that the Tour Guide(s) may divide our group into smaller groups in order to provide the best visit experience. Please note: average group size is 20 visitors per tour guide.

I will notify the Visit Coordinator at least two days in advance if we need to cancel our visit.
